What is the Dress Code, and How do we come Prepared for Holi?
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes. Holi is a festival to play with water and color, so be prepared to look colorful and wet at the end of the day.
Where can I park?
Once you enter Will Rogers State Beach and make a right, there is ample parking at the Parking Lot. This lot is a Paid Parking Lot regulated by the Beaches Authority of LA, and parking fee is per their rules. If you wish to find cheaper or free parking, try to find parking on the streets around the beach venue and walk half or one block to the beach. AID encourages you to carpool with your friends and family.
How do I check in?
Please bring a valid photo ID and proof of purchase email to our registration desk. if you purchased a student ticket, bring your current student ID for verification.
Do I have to pay for colors?
No, colors are included in the ticket price.
How will color be distributed?
Just look for our friendly volunteers who will be distributing colors.
Are there any facilities for cleaning up after the event?
Yes, there are restrooms and wash facility. Please bring towels, change of clothes and some body wash / face wash for clean-up after the event
Can I bring children to the event?
Yes, we encourage getting the younger generation interested! Kids under 8 can attend for FREE. Parents are responsible for supervising their kids.
Is there food at the event?
We will have some free snacks. Food can be purchased from our food vendors (cash only).
Is there alcohol at the venue? If not, can I bring it?
No. This is a non-alcoholic event in accordance with LA county beach regulations. You might get fined by the authorities if caught with alcohol !!!
Will there be music during the event?
LA's Finest DJ Sukh will keep you entertained with the Best of Bollywood and Bhangra tunes throughout the event!
